Hyperion Remote – App
We collect anonymized usage data in the app Hyperion Remote for iOS. These inform us about the use of our app, without storing any information sufficient to identify a single person.
We achieve this by not collecting any personal or pseudonymised data, but using only aggregated and anonymous statistics. Actions within the app are collected and later sent to the server. The following anonymous data is recorded:
- Navigation within the app
- Status of the purchase process
- Day of installation
- Version of the app
- Number of used servers
- Whether the user has bought the full version
- Hyperion version of the server
- Name of the last sent action
- Day on which the same action was last executed
The data is aggregated and stored anonymously on our own servers, where only we (and no third party) have access to. The data is transmitted exclusively encrypted and is only visible to us.
From the collected, anonymous data, it is not possible to identify a single person. Nevertheless, we are able to view anonymous statistics on the usage behavior of our products to improve them.
OPT-OUT
The users of the app have the option to disable the anonymous collection of usage statistics. You can do this in the settings of the app. When disabled, no data will be sent from the app to the server.

We use the tracking software Matomo to analyze visitor behavior. The following data is saved:
- IP address (anonymized)
- Random pseudonym of the user
- Navigation on the page
- Browser information
The data is aggregated and stored in a pseudonymized form on our own servers, where only we (and no third party) have access to. The data is transmitted exclusively encrypted and are only visible to us. We do not use cookies.
Opt-Out
Matomo respects the Do-Not-Tack setting of the browser. As soon as users activate this setting in their browser, no data is collected about the user.
